Hostel Description

The Kiwi International Hotel is at the top end of Auckland's main street. The building is a part of Auckland's history. It is well suited to the budget conscious traveller, offering accommodation styles ranging from dorm beds from $24 per person to fully serviced Hotel style rooms. It is set back from the busy street, so is a quiet spot away from the city, while still being central.
Hostel rooms are available single, twin or double and dorms sleep up to 8 people. Private Twin and Double rooms need to be booked by 2 people travelling together. Bed linen is provided and the rooms are serviced daily. The entire building is designated a smoke-free zone.
All of the attractions of the CBD are within walking distance - Vector Arena, the Casino and Sky Tower, Viaduct Basin - (the rightful home of the America's Cup), and language schools.
Some car-parking is available (small charge), and there are bus stops at the gate.
Facilities include a hostel kitchen and common-room, and a reasonably priced bar and restaurant on site.
Reception is 24 hours.
We have a pool table, an internet cafe as well as wireless internet access, and a great Travel Desk that is available daily.
